BABY OGDEN COMPANY.
OPENS TO-NIGHT. This talented company will open this evening for a short season in the Alexandra Hall, when will be performed a dramatisation i of the celebrated sensational novel of " Called Back." The Wanganui Herald says :—": — " The woird nature of the plot is too well-known to need recapitulation in these columns, suffice it to say that the piece was well mounted and acted throughout with spirit. As "Gilbert Vaughan," the blind witness, Mr L. Dunbar gave further evidence of the rapid progress he was making in his profesion his portrayal of a somewhat difficult character being marked by careful study and intelligent conception. The " Pauline" of Miss Helen Fergus is ono of this lady's best essays, in delineating the life of the loving and trusting girl. ' To-morrow afternoon there will be a Matinee for children and families, when Baby Ojgden will appear as " Jo" is the drama orthat name. To-morrow which is the last night of the Company's performance, the temperance play of " Lost and Won" will be produce.
