COMMUNICATION WITH ENGLAND INTERRUPTED.

CABLES BROKEN. 1 PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, July 14.-The Superintendent of the Eastern Extension Cable Co., at Whakapuaka, advises the Press Association that probably one, if not two, of the Company's repairing steamers will arrive in the vicinity of the breaks on Tuesaay or Wednesday at the latest. Tests from Port Darwin and Roebuck Bay show that all three cables are broken close to Banjoewangie. The Telegraph Department here has been advised by Mr Todd, Superintendent of Telegraphs for South Australia, that the s.s. Adelaide has been chartered to leave Port -Darwin for Banjoewangie at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. If the communication is interrupted west of Banjoewangie, she will go on to Sourabaya or other port having communication with Batavia and Singapore
