WEDDING AT St. MARY'S. THIS DAY.

At St. Mary's Church, at half-past 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning, Miss Gertrude Webster, eldest daughter of Mr F. L. Webster, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to the Rev. T. Farley, pastor of the Epiphany Church, Ponsonby, Auckland. There was an exceedingly large attendance of the fair sex to see the ceremony, which seems to have so much interest for them. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a simple but pretty dress made of cream nun's veiling, with spray of orange blossom at the back, wreath of orange blossom over the head, and a tulle veil worked in the corners with silk. The general opinion was that the bride looked charming. The bridesmaids were Misses Annette, Maud, and Mabel Webster, who wore pure white dresses, trimmed on neck and sleeves with heliotrope ribbon, and Leghorn hats trimmed with the same kind of ribbon. The bridegroom was accompanied by Mr J. M. Lightf oot, of the Bank of New South Wales, as best man. On the wedding party entering the church the choir sang an appropriate hymn. The Yen. Archdeacon Govett performed the marriage ceremony. After the service another hymn was sung, and on the bridal party leaving the church Mendelssohn's Grand Wedding March was played by Mr Garry, the organist. On going down to the carriage the happy couple, and the bridesmaids, too, were saluted with showers of rice. The party then proceeded to the house of the father of the bride, where the wedding was celebrated in the usual way. Mr and Mrs Farley left for their home in Auckland by the s.s. Wanaka this (Tuesday) afternoon, followed by the congratulations and good wishes for their future welfare of all who know them.
