NEW ZEALAND PRODUCE REPORT.
\ Messrs Scales & Co., of London, send us the following report : — Hemp — Since our last report this market has become weaker, and values arc quoted quite 20s per ton | lower, with very weak demand for all but extra tine quality ; fine Auckland. £31 10s to £32 ; fair Wellington, £25 'to £26 ; ordinary do, £22 to £24 10s. Butter— j Thanks to rather colder weather, our market has somewhat improved during the past week or so, and hotter prices have been obtained for all finest qualities. The very large arrivals of Australian and New Zealand, which are being forced on the trade, tend to keep down the values of these sorts, and except for really fine qualities, no increase in values can be quoted ; Danish, 112s to 118s; Normandy, 100s to 118s ; New Zealand, 70s to 100s. Cheese — A fair trade doing at our quotations ; American, 483 to 54s ; Dutch, 4b"s to 58s ; New Zealand, 40s to 50s.
