RAILWAY EMPLOYEES' CONFERENCE

Christchubch, March 12.

The railway employees held a conference last night, when the following resolutions were carried :—(1): — (1) That the Conference expresses sympathy with the employees, and that any branch can use its own discretion in sending assistance to employees. (2) That the minimum standard wages per day for skilled employees on the New Zealand railways be 9s, and on the West Coast 10s.
