CONDUCT OF SALVATION ARMY.

IO THE KMTuR.

Sin, — The report in your issue of yesterday, anent my letter to the Mayor re Salvation Army, is not correct. I said nothing about playing instruments &c., These they might play without my being disconcerted till the crack of doom. What prompted action in this line on my part, was a series of inexpressible, startling uproars, Avhich were heard, I have been told, on the other side of Tisch's Hotel. — Yours &c,

A. Hood. New Plymouth, March 12, 1890.
