There is generally a few minutes'difference between the railway time and that oE the clock at the Post Office, ; fcnt then that is not to be wondered at r because the best chronometers vary and require frequent rating. Where mechanism of a delicate and extremely complicated nature is employed to produce a given result a great deal of expense and attention naturally follows. The only horological instrument so far that never varies is the Waterbarj Watch, which, possessing lesa than half the mechanism of a Swiss or English watcb, is not liabb to disorder, and in case of aocident can be repaired for the nominal Bum of half a crown. This wonderfnl watch, faitbfal to its trust, ticks on, year in and year out, with an accuracy as certain aad implacable as fate.
