[PEH PRESS ASSOCIATION.] EARTHQUAKE- SHOCK. Wellington, Septembor 21. A alight shock of earthquake was felt at 10.15 last evening. STOPPING A RISK. An injunction was issued at the Supreme Court restraining the use oi the Drill Hall ns a skating xink, it being found to be a nuisanoe to the neighbours. SUDDEN DEATH. Christohuroh, September 21. Alexander Buohan, blaoksmith, fell dead in his forge at Burnside. FIRE NEAR DUNEDIN. Dunedin, September 21. About 2 o'olook this morning Wm, Cuddon's oatmeal mill and roasting house, at Fendaltown, was burned down. Insurance, £1000 in the New Zealand Office, half re-insured in the Standard and North German. The fire broke out near the boiler, under whioh the fire was left banked up at 6.80 last night The stock was uninsured. Ouddon's loss is £500, HOTEL BURNT.. Inveroaboill, September 21. MoMillan's Hotel at Benmore was destroyed by fire. Insured for £300 in the New Zealand Office ; half reinsured in the North German.
