Tho President 6'iitJ it was a goo<l idea, but. ho thought il aright be postponed for the time. Tho Vic'lS-Presidext quito endorsed Mr. Davis' remarks, but as most of tho members of the Club had taken up Now Plymouth Club debentures tm.l Jockey Club debeutures, he considered that it was hardly the thing to turn their debt into debentures, and ask the members to take thorn up, when the straitened times were taken info consideration, The. matter then dropped. The Association's medal won by the Club against Auckland was handed round, the Secretary remirkiug that another medal would be givon by the Association this year, to be competed for between Auckland and themselves, and as Wellington and Wanganui would doubtless bo joining tho Association this year, the next medal that would be given for competition in the North Island would have to be competed for in several matches. Tho President stated that Mr. Marsden, a bowler of Duuedin, who is at present staying at vVaitara, had seen him, and in case the Club should send a team to the Dbristchurch tournament, had invited the team to Dunedin. The opening day was fixed for the 9th November, at 10 o'clock a.m., on Mr. Davis' motion, who chose the day because it was the anniversary of the Clud, and a public holiday.
