This will be the third time that the bill will have been advertised, and the members of tho Town Boaid, especially tho Chairman of the Town and District Counmi , deserve the thanks of tho district for tbe : - action in the matter.

On Thursday lost tho sohool was closed for the week on account of the smill attendance, many of tho children and the toacher suffering from influenza, which is veiy prevalent. The school committee hope that after the short recesa tho attendance of children will be neartr the average. On Thursday evoning a meeting of milk suppliers was held at tho Dairy Factoiy Company's office to discuss the subject of opening the factory. Sir. John Stevenson was voted to Iho chair. Tho object was briefly stated, viz., to discass the subject of suppliers taking tho factory und working it on co-operative principles. About twenty suppliers and others were present, and the matter was fnlly discussed. The unanimous conclusion was that each one had made preparations for .milking, having the cows and other appliances, and that a sacrifice could not bo now made of them, and they could not do hotter than go on. The chairman invited those who were wiling to join in cooperation to state so, when about fourteen of those present signified their intention to fro into the matter. At tho conclusion oE the general meeting these gen Jemen met, and appointed a committee, consisting of Messrs. Anderson, J. Stevenson, McHardy, Williams, and o'Donnell, to arrango matters and to report to a meeting of the associated suppliers on Thursday next. It was agreed, to enable any supplier to join io co-operation, to keep the list open until Saturday. Several suppliers have taken advantage of this, and signified their willingness to join. It is to be hoped that this will be a happy eolation of tho difficulty. The Rev. Father iMulvihfll will celebrate Mass at Opunnke on Sunday, at 10.30 a.m.
