Christohuboh, May 28, At a meeting of manufacturers, a resolution was passed that the Colonial Treasurer's proposals re Customs' tariff was fair and reasonable, and their effect on trade generally, and colonial industries particularly, is likely to be largely and permanently of a benefioial character. FISHERMAN DROWNED. Portions of the boat that the fisherman Thomas Way was out in drifted into harbour yesterday. There is now no doubt that the man is. drowned.
