There has been a farther fall inß^nk'of New Zealand shares, and sales are reported at £15 ; Colonials are offered at 41b 6d, with buyers at 41s. For Nationals there are bnyers, bat shares are seldom obtainable at present rate?. In Insurance Bhares a little business has been do;e, with' slightly better prices. A small lot of Land Mortgage is wanted at 21b. New ' Plymouth G»s are wanted at £5 ; none at present offering. Money has been placed on mortgage at 8 per cent, on freehold security, and a snm is available at same rate for a first-class mortgage, - Wew Plymouth, May 20th, 1887.'
