St. MARY'S SUNDAY SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT.
The second of the series of entertainments for the benefit of St. Mary's Sunday School, to bo held during the winter mouths, took placo in tho Freemasons' Hall on Wednesday opening. By the kindness of tLoso who assisted, the Committee wero euablod to submit a programme that, but for tho iuclenient weather, should have secured a crowded house. The audience, ho\, ever, evinced the highest appreciation of the different items. The piano duet by Misb Suipp and Miss Webster was executed in their usual faultless style. Miss Teed'a solo evoked applause. A vow voice, and ono it was heartily wiahed would remain amongst us, found expression in thecharmiug song " Onco Again," and Miss Rogers was much complimented on its exquieito rendering. Mr. Deiupsey's recitation and Mr. Muiißon's solo weie thoroughly enjoyed, the latter receiving a well-merited encore. Thu duet by Messrs. Manson and Triho was a decided and pleasant surprise. Miss Corn wull's song, the "Maid of the Mill," gave lull scope to her powerful yet sweet contiwlto. The artistic rendering of Miss ilaiuer ton's song, " Daifodill," proved tho complete control of a trained voioe. Mr. Skeot's flute solo brought the musiual part of tho entertainment to a close.
