Of these, seven passed in die Ikst-cluss honours, three of whom wore Now Zealanders, Frederick Truby King, of Taranaki (who, as the most distinguished student of the year, obtained I hi- Ettlon Scholarship), Frederick Howorth Jeilooat, B.A , of Ou^o (who obtained the Stark Scholarship in chemical medicine, and the Beaudy prize), and Peter Alexander Lindsay, B.A. Of the remaining four, two were from Scotland and two from England.
