BANKRUPTCY COURT. THIS DAY.

Monday, September' 20.—Before F. P. Corkill Esq. D.O.A. IN RE O. J. CUDD. BANKRUPT. A meeting of the creditors in the estate of E. J. Cudd was held at the Deputy Official Assignee's office this morning, when there were present Mr. Robinson who represented the trustees of Mrs. Cudd (£470 15s. 7d.), Mr. Ramson, who held a proxy for Messis Owen and Graham of Auckland (£80), Mr. H. Weston (£2 ss. 31), Mr. W. Wright, who held a proxy from Sargood Ewen & Co. (£174 14s. 3.1.) The Assignee read a statement showing that the assets were estimated at £950 and liabilities at £1260. He alao stated that Mr. Cudd had filled without the intervention of a solicitor, or reserving anything for Court expenses. After a considerable discussion it was proposed by Mr. Ramson, seconded by Mr. Wright, " That the Assignee dispose of thu stock in the bankruptcy estate by tender," which was carried. The Assignee nported that Mr. Cudd'u personal estate was declared to be under £5 i* value, it would therefore be for the creditors to Bay whether any further award Bhould be made tq him. After some discussion it was decided that in consideration of his position the few book debts in the estate bo made over to Mr. Cudd. The meeting then sepurated.
