ARRIVAL- OF RUAPJ3HU.
Wellington, September 11. The Euapehn oame np in 24 hours,' with no less than 110 bags of mails for Wellington, and, though the steamer only dropped anchor • at 1 .30 p.m., they were ready for delivery at 4 p.m. Besides this, the Post Office had to despatch the 'Frisco mail. In all, 16 steamers came into port yesterday.
DEATH OF A GOLDFIELD DISCOVERER.
Dunedin, September 18. , Peter Wetherstone, the discoverer of the Wetherstone Goldfield, died in the hospital yesterday.
