SERIOUS ACCIDENT ON FRANKLEY ROAD.

A vkiiv serious accident happened on Wuilnfcbdiiy evening to a Mr. Arnold, who is settled on the Frankley Iload. The doctor statis that it wub better that the skin over the brain should have been broken, and so allowed tho blood to escape. From tho surroundings of tho spot where tho accident occurred, it Beems that Mr. Arnold had felled a white-wood tree, and had then stepped back a few yards to get cl'ar of it. 'I ho top, however, caught in a tawa, and a limb from tho falling tree snapped off. and recoiled back, striking Mr. Arnold with tho result as stated.
