[fboji odr own correspondent.] July B.— Mr. R. Pigott, a son oE Mr. J. Pigott, of the Star Hotel here, met with n serious accident yesterday morning. He was ploughing, and had a young horse he was breaking in attached to the plough. It appears hp was at the horse's bead doing something to the reins, which had got loose, and while fastening them the horse bolted with the plough, nnd, in passing him, kicked out, hitting Pigott in the nose and month, cutting the former in three places, anJ knocking out some oO his teeth. His lip is also cut. The horse, fortunately for him, was not shod. From enquiries made this morning, I am glad to find he is proi^re ins favorably.
