We hear that Mr. John Stitt, of the well and favourably-known firm of Stitt Brothers of Wesrport, has purchased the goodwill and premises cf Mr. Sanders, general storekeeper, next door to Mr. Courtney's new room, Opunake. Mr. Stitt will be quite an acquisition to the district, as he is a man of great energy and perseverance, and not easily daunted, he having been twice remove! by floods at Westport.
