W E B S T E R~~BROTHERS, AGENTS FOR TARANAKI DISTRICT 0605 h w T)EWARE OF VILE AttY_D BICAN COUNTERFEITS OF HOLLO WAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT. I most respectfully take leave to call the atten* , tion of the inhabitant of Australasia to the fact that Messrs. HENRY CURRAN, & Co., Wholesale Druggists, of New York, have Agencies in various parts, and that their Travellers are going all over the ooantry vending SPURIOUS IMITATIONS of my Pills and Ointment, which they make in New York, and which bear in some instances their trade mark as above ; whilst on other labels of this trash it is omitted, the better to deceive you, but the words " New York" are retained. Muchofthiß fictitious stuff is sold in the Auction Rooms of Sydney and else where, and readily finds its way into the baok settlements. These are vile frauds, as Ido not allow my Medioines even to be sold in any part of the United States ; they are only made by me at 633, Oxford-street, London. The same people are circulating a report that my business is about to be formed into a Company, which is utterly false. I most earnestly appeal to that sense of British justice, which I feel sure I may venture upon asking from my kind countrymen and countrywomen in their distant homes, to assist me, as far as may lay ifi their power, to put down this shameful American Fraud, by cau« tioning their friends lest they be duped into buying villainous compounds styled ** Hollo* way's Pills and Ointment" with any New York label thereon. Each Pot and Box of the Geuuine Medioines bears the British Government Stamp, with the words " HoixowATf'B Prixs and Ointment, London," engraved thereon. On the label is the address, 533, Oxford-street, London, whera alone they are manufactured. THOMAS HOLLOWAY.
