THE TENDER FOR PARITUTU.
TO THE EDITOR. Silt, — As I 800 by your issuo of tho 20th instant that- the Harbour Board has made a misrepresentation of my tend or for tho fencing at Paritutu, I wish to correct the same. My tender was as follows ; — For tho oreoting 1 of tho wire fonco it win Gd. instead of £2, and for tho four rail fence £2 instead of £3 6s. 61. I oannofc see how they took 86s. Gd. for £'2, as there is a great deal of differoncu in tho figures. Any schoolboy could tell tho difFeronoe between 365. 6d. and £2, and the same between £2 and £3 6a. Gd. I think there is a great deal of favour shown by tho Board.— l am, &c, John Mather. Manutahi North.
