The report of tho magistrate appointed to investigate the matter of the attempted assassination of Monk by the Kelly gang, or some of their sympathisers, has been published. He entirely disbelieves Monk's statement. Sydney, May 27.
The members of the Cricket Association are obtaining signatures to a re-
qnisition calling a meeting to consider what steps should be taken in reference to Lord Harris' letter about the cricket row in Sydney, and the comments of the English Press.
