•Thursday, July 20.— Bofore his Honor H. Eyre I Kennv, Judge.
Sucton v. Barlow.— ln this case the plaintiff claimed the sun: of £42 os. 10d., for rent of land held by the defendant under a lease. The defendant put in a set-off for £6 17s. 9d., for goods sold and delivered. Mr. Hammerton appeared for the plaintiff, and the defendant wns unrepresented by counsel. The defendant admitted th.ib ho was indebted to the plaintiff in the amount claimed; but disputed some of the covenants of the lease. The Court informed him that he had signed the lease, inn] therefore he was bouivi by it unless he proved th.it thrt plaintiff had aoteil fiauiluleutly towards turn. The defendant said he could not prove fraud ; mid on the plaintiff admitting the set -off, judgment was given for the plaintiff for £42 os. 10d., less .£'> 17s. 9d., with costs, £1 125., and counsel's fee, £2 2s. IN BANKRUPTCY. Re P. J. O'Toolb. — Mr. Hammprton applied for a certificate of complete nxeeulion of the deed of arrangement in this estate. Order granted.
