NOTICE is hereby given that the right of depasturing Stock on the unenclosed lands lying waste and uncultivated within the undermentioned districts in the Town of New Plymouth and Town Belt, for the term commencing on the 10th day of April 1859, and ending on the 30th day of September following, will be put up for sale by Public Auction on Saturday, the Bth day of April next, at noon, at the Office of the Provincial Treasurer, subject to the provisions of the Ordinance, Session 2, No. 2, and to the subjoined conditions :—: — DISTRICTS RErERRED TO. No. 1. — North of the Mangotuku, West of Q,ueen street, and East of the Cutfield road. No. 2. — South of the Mangotuku and the Gladstone road, West of Queen street and Robe street, East of the Cntfield road and the Belt road. No. 3. — North of Devon street and East of Liardet street. No. 4. — South of Courtenay street and East of Carrington road. conditions : 1. The districts will be put up separately and will be sold to the highest bidder, and if any dispute shall arise as to the bidding for any district, the district will be put up again. 2. No person shall at any bidding advance less than five shillings, or retract his bidding. 3. NOTICE.— The local drills for the respective districts are hereby appointed to take place at the times and places following namely : — For the Town District, on the Military Parade Ground, at 3 o'clock, p.m., every Monday. For the Tataraimaka District, in the field of Mr Greenwood, at 10 o'clock,a.m., every Tuesday. For the Omata District, in the field of Mr McKellar, at 2 o'clock, p.m., every Tuesday. For the Grey District, in the field of Mr R. Lethbridge, junr., at 2 o'clock, p.m., every Thursday. For the Bell and Hua District, in the field opposite the Bell Inn, at 2 o'clock, p.m., every Friday. The first days of drill in the respective districts will be as follow : — In the Town District, on Monday, the 14th instant. In the Tataraimaka District, on Tuesday, the 15 th instant. In the Omata District, on Tuesday, the 15th instant. In the Grey District, on Thursday, the 17th instant. In the Bell and Hua District, on Friday, the 18th instant.
