Weights — 3 yrs., 8 st. 9 lbs. ; 4 yrs., 9 st. 13 lbs. ; 5 yrs., 10 st. 7 lbs. ; 6 yrs. and aged, 10 st. 10 lbs. ; 4 lbs. allowed to mares and geldings. Entrance, £2 2s. Open to all horses. LADIES PURSE.— soys. ; 2nd horse to save his stake, lg mile. Heats. Weights — 3 yrs., 9 st. 7 lbs. ; 4 yrs., 10 7 lbs. ; 5 yrs., 1 1 st. ; 6 yrs. and aged, 11 st. 7 lbs. ; 4 lbs. allowed to mares and geldings. The winner of the Taranaki Plate to carry 7 lbs. extra. The winner of Taranaki Plate or Ladies Purse to carry 7 lbs. extra. CONSOLATION STAKES.— Ahandicapof£l Is. each, with soys. added. For beaten horses. One mile and a half. Single event. Post entrance.
