Quarter commencing Ist October 1853. 2. Treasurer to pay monies on warrants of Superintendent.
in the Schedule to this Ordinance, the sum of eight hundred and six pounds, two shillings, and sixpence : Provided always that the several services specified in the 'said ■ Schedule, under the he.id " Chargeable on ' Land Fund," shall not be provided for ' otherwise than out of the proceeds and profits of and attending the Sale, Letting, ' or other alienation of the Waste, Lands of the Crown. 2. And be it enacted that the Provincial Treasurer of New Plymouth shall issue from time to time any sum or sums of money for the purposes hewinbefore referred to, not exceeding in the whole the ' sums respectively specified to such persons and in such portions as the Superintendent ■ of the t said Province of'jjNew Plymouth ' shall) by warrant direct : And such Trea- ' surer shall in his accounts be," allowed < credit for all sums Epaid by him in putsuance of such warrants ; and the receipts - of the persons to whom such sums fhall ' have been paW, shall be to him a full discharge of the sum or sums lor which such receipts shall have been given, and the amonnts thereof shall be parsed to his credit in account accordingly.
