WARDEN’S COURT— Yesterday.
Before Jackson Kkodki.t. Esq., ‘Warden. Long Drive G.DI.G. v. Dloanatairi G.DI.C. The complainants in this ease charged the defendants with converting to their own use certain gold bearing quartz, the property of tho complainants, who therefore prayed the Court to order them to gire up possession of the properly and pay such damages as the Court may award. They further sought for an injunction to restrain the defendants from in any way interfering with the property pending the action. Mr Miller appeared for complainants, and stated that there would be a meeting of directors of both companies held today in Auckland, and that there was a probability of the matter in dispute being arranged. He therefore asked for an adjournment of (lie case until Thursday, the IGII I insf., which was granted. Case adjourned until Thursday, IGtii May, accordingly. The Court then adjourned until next morning.
