S.C. RUGBY UNION.

The weekly meeting of the South Canterbury Rugby Union was held in'Timaru o n Tuesday evening. Present - Messrs H. H. Eraser (chairman), J. Beri, M. Houlihan, J. B. Crowley, Hugh Fras'er, V. I. Aspinall, and S. H. Sullivan.

The chairman reported that £S72 had been paid to the Sports Ground Company as part of the - purchase moite*y for the Athletic Grounds.
