METHODIST BIBLE CLASS.

On Tuesday evening, the Methodist Bible Classes further, continued their series of winter evenings. Mr H. Walker presided over a large, attendance of members and friends. Community singing, under the capable management of Miss E. Hamilton, formed ijhe first part of the evening's entertainment, after which Dr.' Ashley Mclnnes gave a most interesting address on "An Evening with the Poets." The Rev. . Griffin, iu proposing a vote of thanks to the speaker, which was seconded by. Mr L. Norton, said they were very much indebted to Dr. Mclnnes for the splendid address! "Mr Roberts" arid Miss Brown also spoke 'thanking the doctor. During supper a real live orchestra comprising Miss P. Airay, Messrs N. Collins and S. Cross, delighted the audience with their select tions. . The pronouncing of the Benediction by the Rev.- Griffin [brought one. of the best of evening'js to a close.
