THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist's forecast of the weather yesterday was as follows: — The indications are for northerly moderate to strong and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer has a falling tendency. ■
Yesterday the weather was beautifully fine, "the general remark being that is was as warm as summer.
