SOUTHERN PARLIAMENT.

LONDON, January 11. Mr Griffith's Cabinet has decided to summon the Southern Ireland Parliament for Saturday for the establishment of the Provisional Government. \ Mr de Valera, interviewed, said that not one of his party would recognise the meeting on ' Saturday, adding: "No one will bother about it." The "Irish Times" says the electors will accept the Free State constitution by an overwhelming majority, and will relegate to private life most of the persons who defied their wishes in the Dail Eireann. A manifesto issued by the Irish Labour Party, concludes: "The hour has struck for the workers to emerge from the shade," and adds: "The workers' struggle henceforth must be against capitalism. Unless the now Government realises the supremacy of Labour it will not be a Republic in the eyes of the world." The "Daily Chronicle" states that the withdrawal of British troops from Ireland begins on Thursday, when several detachments of the Black and Tans will embark. The plans are well forward for the release of Irish prisoners, including 40 under sentence of death. Altogether 1010 convicted men are awaiting release. MORE OUTRAGES. LONDON, January 11. While a tram car was proceeding down Ardoyne Hill, in Belfast, with S<s passengers, ten men approached the car, and one excitedly fired a revolver, but the driver accelerated the speed just in time to miss a bomb which fell and exploded behind the car. No casualties resuletd. A dastardly outrage is reported from the Crumlin Road district. A workman named Anderson was leaving his home, and his wife came to the door to say good-bye, when both were shot dead. A bomb exploded in Cupar Street, Belfast, and a girl was wounded. There has been much shooting, the police firing on the rioters, who dispersed. Several people were wounded.
