Oi'. Saturday last His Worship the Mayor tf Temuka received the following" telegram trom Bombardier W. F. Evans, who is at the front in France : “ A. Frew.” Mayor, Temuka,, “ Our boys in France well. Good spirits. Join in fond regards. Heartiest Xmas greetings to all Temuka. Keep the home lives burning, and we will keep the old Hag flying/’ “ Evans.” To this flic Mayor sent the following reply ; “ Christmas greetings to Tcmnka soldiers at the front. Delighted to hear yon are all well. Continued success to you, and more to follow.” “ Alex. Frew, Mayor. ’ ’
