ELECTROCUTED.
[ MURDERERS' END. NEW. iyOlU\, April 15. Four who were convicted of the murder of Herman Rosenthal were electrocuted in Sins: Sing prison. 'No one confessed as anticipated, tviad' no out! mentioned, that Becker was in any way connected with the crime. Whitey Lewis, as the warders were strapping him in the electric chair, mumbled "Gentlemen, I did not shoot Rosenthal, those who said I did were perjurers ; for the sajre of justice, gentlemen, I say I did not." The electric current here cut short tha statement. A Jewish rabbi attended Lewis and Gyp the Blood, a Roman Catholic chaplain attended the Dago Erankf?;, another rabbi accompanied Lefty Lewis.
Owing to the crowds of newspaper reporters only, a certain, number were admitted to each oxecution. The condemned men nearly collapsed while waiting for a new trial'to be granted to Becker. Later*. It is now established, through the confession of Dago Frank that Gyp l.ouis and Vallon killed .Rosenthal, while Dago Fran!.', himself was absent. Dago Frank, however, admitted taking" a loading part in the plot against Rosenthal's life. lie exonerated Becker (who was a police odicer). (
