The annual meeting of the Temuka C.Jolf Club was hold in I he Social .1 Lull last Rvcjiiw"-. There were 20 members present, and Mr M. McLeod was elected to tliu chair. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. the report and balance sheet were read a» follows :- Your committee have much pleasure in oreseiitimr their annual report and balance-sheet. The year was started with a debit balance of l/'.», and we have now in hand a credit balance of .CIS ds M, which must, bo considered very satisfactorv. During the year the Club have lost the valued services of Mr and Mrs Bradmore, by i their removal from the district. This will be a distinct loss, as besides being our captain, Mr Bradmore was one of the chief founders of the club and our best player. During the year a men's championship was played off, Mr Bradmore being the. winner, with Mr W. Pearse runner-up. Several competitions were played during the season, for both men and ladies. The. best thanks of the Club are duo to all those members and others who gave trophies. The best thanks are also due to the ladies for providing afternoontea. J On the motion of Mr McLeod, sec-1 onded by Mr Smart, the. report and j| balance-sheet were adopted. |i .-The following new members were J elected—Dr Davies and Misses Davics. The resignation of Mrs and Miss Ash well and Mr Rjawson were accepcod with regret.
