GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Geraldine Domain Board was held on Tuesday night. Present—The Mayor (Mr F. R. Fla'tman), and Councillors R. Taylor, W. A. Shorratt, J. M. Sutherland, J. Kennedy, and T. Shorratt. The overseer reported that he had had - the trees in both parks thinned out, and several trees trimmed up, -which.-gave the place a tidy appearance. Kellihcr had finished, sowingoats and grass seed on the unused portion of the domain, where it was intended to make a football and hockey ground. The lease of reserve 1(524 in the small park would expire on December I2tb. It would lie as well do ■arrange for contribution from the several sports clubs for the ensuing season. The Geraldine Bowling Club applied -for lease of the bowling enclosure for ■sowing grnss for a croquet lawn. — Granted on the usual terms. Accounts' amounting to £l2 ITs weru passed for payment.
