'1 he officer followed Lynch and found the house in darkness. Ho struck a match and discovered eleven men there. Somewere sitting down, and others wegostanding. The sergeant said to ct<leudant. "You are- doing a good business; here,” and then left. A constat-le placed on duty saw Lynch ec me out of defendant’s shop with tw-o bottles in his pocket. Lynch walked ah-ng a little "ay, and then took a drink out of one of the bottles. lie s-.ud he paid 'for them.
