TEMUKA STOCK SALE.
'The usual fortnightly sale of stock was belli at the Teumka saleyards on I'uesday last. There was only a. small entry of stock of all kinds andi with the exception of sheep, prices were about on a par with late rules, [’hero was, however, an excellent demand for fat and forward sheep end the a v erage prices realised were slightly above previous ones. No doubt the weather was to be blamed for the smallness of the attendance, hue those who were present seemed keen on business, and there w’as a noticeable lack of mere spectators. Sheep—About 1500 sheep wore yard-, ■d, mostly fat and forward wethers and ewes in lamb, and the foil living are u few of the prices realised : Fat wethers 22/-. 23/ to 2-1/ ; fat. and forward lambs 15/, lii/, id/.'!, 17/' 17/(i, to 17/10 ; 2,4, (3, and 8-tootlr ewes in lamb went tip to 24/. Cattle —There was bat a small yardJig of cattle and pigs, and lie prices realised were about on a par -with rales ruling at the lust sale.
