THE EXHIBITION.

WELLINGTON, July 23. The Marine Department has been authorised by the Cabinet to arrange for a fresh water aquarium at the Exhibition. A special building will ba erected for the purpose, and a largo pool will bo made in the centre of the lloor for the reception of the lurgest varieties of brown trout and o(.hellish will be distributed in sixteen large glass tanks. The aquarium will bo placed hi charge of Mr Ayson, Chief Inspector of Fisheries.
