Tjemuka, Tuesday, May 28th, 1901,
[Before C. A. Wray, Esq.,S.M.,] BSKACH OF BY-LAWS. Eli Prattley, jnr., pleaded guilty to committing a broach of tho Borough bylaws, by driving sheep through a portion of the Main Street. Accused pleaded ignorance. His Worship said that as this was the first offence of the kind he would simply caution accused. CIVIL CASES. W. C. Rr;»V.on v. C.Trtngrove—Claim 13/3. Judgment by default for amount c'aimed and costs. J. T. M. Hayhurst y. J. & T. Malarkey —Claim for possession of premises. Mr Raymond for plaintiff, and Mr Kiouerney for defendants. This case had been settled by the parties, defendants agreeing to give possession in cue month; no costs on either side. Order made accordingly. W. C. Rouktou v. J Counihan—Claim £3 4s Bd. Judgment by default for amount claimed and costs. J. Harrison v. G. Phiskie—chim 15/-. Judgment for amount claimed aud costs. Massey-Harris Co. v. E. Crow—claim £l7. Judgment summons. Mr Raymond for plaintiffs, and Mr Aspiuall for defendant. Attar examination of the debtor, His Worship declined to make an order. F. A. Butteriield v. D. Parke—claim £1 15s. Judgment by default for amount claimed and costs.
