At the Wanganui Races ou Friday the Autumn Handicap was won by The Needle (dividend £l3 2s), Second Hurdles by Morfu (£6 Is), Hack Hurdles by Haydn (£4 Ids!, Wanganui Stakes by Skobelolf (£3 19s), Welter Handicap by Gipsy Queen (£7 13s).
