The above board met ou Tuesday evening last. Present Messrs A. White (chairman), W. S. Maslin, R. Y. Ferguson, R, Taylor, and J. Williams. XKXBRYIE'WS, Mr C. Ramble waited on the board, asking permission to open the bush park feupe to draw logs from his land to the mill.—Granted, Mr J. Dean waited on the board, asking for extension of lime for payment of royalty timber cut in bush park.— Board adjourned this matter for a week. TENDERS. For mowing grass in small park: T. H rlihy, for the grass; J. Orafar, for grass offering 16s (accepted). For carting §0 yards of shingle : J. Orafar, Is 4d per yard ; Geo, Ward, 34
per yard ; T. Maloney, Is 3d per yard. — Decided, by drawing from a hat, in favor of G. Ward. For lease of reserve opposite Roman Catholic Church : James Turner, £6 per year for three years. THE DOMAIN. Mr Maslin thought money might be well spent in utilising the water at the back of the domain for ornamental purposes. Members agreed to keep the matter in mind. The board then rose.
