GERALDINE LICENSING COMMITTEE.
The annual meeting of the Geraldine Licensing Committee was hold at noon on Tuesday last. Present —A. White (chairman), M. C. Orbell, F. W. Worn or. and J. Riordan.
The chairman stated that during the past twelve months there bad not been any complaints, the houses in the district having been kept in general good order. The committee had inspected the houses, and given notice to have certain repairs done to two of them before granting the licenses.
The following licenses were applied for:—
Geraldine Hotel Mrs A. W. Post, 11 o’clock license. Inspector’s report : Well kept; no objections.—Granted. Crown Hotel —Mr J. Farrell, 11 o’clock license. Inspector’s report: Well kept; no objections.—Granted. Bush Hotel —Mrs Holloway, 11 o’clock license.—Held over for one week to give time for certain recommendations of the committee to be carried out.
