Immediately facing the entrance ie a lofty and profusely decorated clock tower, proceeding under which the vieitor find* himself in <the ■ gorgeously colored ehapal deiigDed by Signor Fnoigna, an Italian artist, who died juet before the com* pletion of hie work. . Severely simple English, minds will hardly aaaooiata snoh a wealth of color with a place of worship, but as a work of art it commands credit. The walla are covered with an elaborate gold stencilling upon a colored ground } and Biblical characters are represented in bold- relief, of tbe atyla'of' the bhurchee at Rome.
