If the reports of the [Resident Magistrate’s Court at Temuka were looked into, it would be seen that no one was ever brought up for cattle trespass. All persons were allowed to run their stock out there as much as they liked. He would propose-—“ That section 14 of By : law Ne. 2be repealed.” In reply to Mr Huffey, the Chairman v'aaid that by. the Ranger’s report stock had been impounded off other streets as ’ well as the main one. The Banger had received strict instructions to carry out the by-laws, Mr Mundel! said he was always in favor of this, being done.
