The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Corarjauy of New Zealand, Limited, reports on the local grain marhet us follows : Wheat, 4s 2d to 4s 3d, market quieter ; malting barley, 4s 3d to 4s 9d, market strong ; New Zealand oats, feeding sorts, firm at 2s 114 to 3s ; milling do, 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; New Zealand oats under bond, 2s 6d to 2s Bd, market quiet.

The markets for colonial breadstuffi and tallow are without quotable change. At to-day's wool auction, 12,300 bales were catalogued. The demand was steady but not active. A poor selection of wools was offered.
