The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,699,000 quarters, being a decrease of 110,000 quarters during the week, At to-day's wool sales the catalogue comprised 102,008 bales, for which there was good competition. Greasy fleece is now £d to Id lower than at last sales. Feb. 16. At the wool auction to-day, 10,800 bales were offered. The tone of the sale quiet. The shipments of Australian wheat to the United Kingdom have averaged 43s ; to London direct, frcm 41s to 41s 6d.
