AFSTEALIAN MAEKETS. Sydney, Feb. 18. Heavy fine crossbreds. are very firm. Scoured wools generally have fallen to Id since the close of last auction.
ENGLISH MAEKETS,
London, Feb. 15. Adelaide wheat remains at 44s ex store, and New Zealand do 38 s to 425. Adelaide flour, ex store, 31s. Australian tallow, fair average quality, beef, 38s ; mutton, 42s 6d, Leather, best Australian sides, lid. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,699,000 quarters, being a decrease of 110,000 quarters during the week, At to-day's wool sales the catalogue comprised 102,008 bales, for which there was good competition. Greasy fleece is now £d to Id lower than at last sales. Feb. 16. At the wool auction to-day, 10,800 bales were offered. The tone of the sale quiet. The shipments of Australian wheat to the United Kingdom have averaged 43s ; to London direct, frcm 41s to 41s 6d.
