new zealand institute election of officers
Dunedin, Last Night. Business sessions of the Institute of Opticians concluded this morning. Members expressed sincere appreciation of the work of the retiring president, Mr. E. A. Sargent, who had held this office for the past nine years. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr. A. Brook-Taylor (Wellington); "ice-president, Mr. George E. Cox (Wellington); secretary, Mr. L. A. Notloy (Wellington); central executive, Messrs. W. T. Wilson (Petone), E. R. Boyd and E. A. Sargent (Wellington) ; district representatives, Messrs. T. D. Peacock (Auckland), E. A. S. Slatthy (Hastings), R. C. Bailey (Palmerston North), R. T. Shanks (Wellington), W. W. McKinney ( Christchurch), and A. R. Watson (Dunedin).
