VISIT OF GREEN EXPERT A meeting of the Patea Lawn Tennis Club committee was held on Monday. The chief matter for discussion was the visit of the green expert to Patea. It was unanimously decided that his services be secured. With regard to the club championships, it was decided that the first round must be completed not later than February 26, the rule to be strictly enforced. Second round matches should be proceeded with immediately where possible. It was decided to play the finals on a Saturday afternoon. After considerable discussion it was decided that matches be controlled by umpires where possible.
