Wellington, .Last Night. jjFire • which broke out in the Labour; Department's library about 7 o'clock tonight practically gutted that section1 of the department's offices on the second y floor of the Hope Gibbons building and destroyed a ntunber of flies and records. These, however, are believed to be unimportant. .The seat of the fire appeared to be * in a corridor next to the lihrary. Some papers had evidently been smouldering for some time and burned through the partition, igniting the shelves and books - in the library.
