MOTORIST'S NEGLIGENCE. JURY AWARDS DAMAGES.
Christchurch, Last Night. ; J Myrtle Victoria Cameron, a school . teacher of Christchurch, was awarded damages totalling £346 in the Supreme Court to-day for injuries suffercd when ;s& she was knocked down by a motor-car. . The defendant was a piano salesman, Conrad Gustav Hamann. The jury deliberated for four and a half hours, finding both parties to the accident guilty of negligence but that Hamann had the last'.,: opportunity of avoiding the accident. .
